The KidSTART Programme

KidSTART Singapore Limited is a non-profit organization that specializes in supporting families in early childhood development.

Our specialist team partners the government and the community to empower families with less resources in building strong foundations for their children under 6 years old, to give them a good start in life.

The KidSTART programme, introduced in 2016, aims to give children aged 0 to 6 years old from low-income families in Singapore a good start in life by supporting their parents and caregivers in the areas of early childhood development. The programme supports pregnant mothers and monitors the developmental progress of children from birth onwards. It also coordinates and strengthens holistic services for families, where needed.

Through KidSTART, parents and caregivers are equipped with the knowledge and skills to:

• Build warm nurturing relationships with their children;
• Support the age-appropriate development of their children; and
• Care for the health and social wellbeing of their children in their early years.
